No matter what one's personal views of Amazon are, the reason trump dislikes Jeff Bezos is not [View all]

because trump believes Bezos doesn't pay enough taxes, or that Amazon is hurting the Mom and Pop stores around the country.

The reason is very simple. Trump is a petty, ego maniac, who cannot stand the fact that Bezos is not only more wealthy than trump will ever be, he is far more respected and admired among the business community.

One also should not be deceived by Trump's rant how Amazon is hurting the Post Office because they are "giving Amazon a sweetheart deal on postal rates". Trump cares very little about the United States Postal service, and currently is looking at options he has available to increase postal rates, not to "help the US postal service", but to hurt Amazon. In fact, trump has been one of the biggest proponents to privatize the USPS.

While there are legitimate arguments to be made concerning some of Amazon's predatory business practices, that has nothing to do with Trump's war with Jeff Bezos. The only person Trump cares about is Trump.

Perhaps when Trump starts ranting about how littles taxes Amazon pays, one of the illustrious members of the press might be so inclined to ask him about HIS TAX RETURNS, and how much taxes he pays?

I have never seen an administration with so many conflicts of interest, nepotism, along with polices specifically aimed to benefit his businesses, and yet the media and Congress remain relatively silent on this.

The hypocrisy of trump's criticism is unbelievable
