...they are the solution!

Immigrants are already a boost to the economy and make us stronger and more diverse. There's no lack of space in the US for immigrants, and recent history suggests that immigrants tend to vote for progressive candidates. The fact that they could help us take back both houses of Congress and the White House is justification enough, but on top of that there are studies that show that immigrants ADD to our economy, and with an aging population, a lower birth rate for native born Americans and a smaller work force we NEED these people. Nancy Pelosi was right when she said that they're our best hope.

On a side note, generally speaking when someone talks about a 'flood' it carries a negative connotation, such as the floods associated with a natural disaster or the ocean flooding the compartments of a ship at sea. Please consider this when you talk (or write) about immigrants "flooding into the country". Why couldn't we just say immigrants immigrating into our country?
