Morning sickness coincides with an early phase of fetal brain development that is very, very delicate. During that period it is easy for the fetus to develop serious/fatal problems if mom's diet includes anything poisonous.

Part of the system is essentially advocating for the fetus. The fetus would probably prefer mom consumed nothing but glucose water during that delicate early development stage. Meanwhile, the rest of Mom often doesn't even know she's pregnant yet and would like to eat.

Pungent, acidic and bitter things, or the thought of such, seem nauseating. (Likelier to be the sort of mild poisons one finds in edible plants)

Women in early pregnancy do show a lot of forced pair-bonding sexual behavior to firm up the relationship before she gets too pregnant to forage as well for herself (and increase likelihood of dad feeling/accepting paternity when the bump shows, and when the child is born), and consuming a lot of their mate's sperm might help with that bonding, so to speak.

But there is no reason that dad's sperm would negate the evolutionary benefit of avoiding toxins during that period.

So I doubt it.

(Eating charcoal is probably more effective. Burnt toast and milk...)
