you keep making a big deal out the term "derided". Rumors and innuendo haven't helped that one bit. I'm not going to refudiate anything, the article speaks for itself with links to back it up. THERE IS NO cuts to SS benefits.

You bring up Simpson-Bowles which never got out of the gate, members appointed by the President AND Congress. A report was issued and it failed to pass period. The commission was terminated. It failed.
