4. Do we know what conversation occurred between the cops and the victims?

If the police told them to leave and they refused, then the arrest is inevitable. The cops aren’t going to say oh well we tried. So I don’t Blame the cops (in this instance).

I just had the police remove the utility company’s tree cutting people from my property last week. The cops didn’t arrest them. They ordered them to leave. Had they refused they would have been arrested.

That said, I think the men did the right thing by refusing the order to leave. It brought the issue to light (again). I think it was wonderful civil disobedience.
