(13,081 posts)71. Backed off on gun control
Ive been noticing it especially in state level races. I personally know incumbent candidates that were asked by party officials to back off gun control, not because it would affect that persons race, but because it might affect other peoples closer races.
My perception is that swing voters often want strength more than anything else. Not authoritarian style strength, but not backing down from a fight kind of strength.

Yes it is worth it. Seriously, you think Pukes intend to be kind to ANYONE but their own?

Nancy is extremely likeable... don't understand why she has yet to run for President.

Even if Pelosi stepped down tomorrow, they'd still use her. People don't read. They wouldn't know.
