although lots of nice white men will be happy to explain that "n......" is just a mispronunciation of a perfectly harmless Spanish word for "black," and wonder why people take such offense.

Likewise you can give me all the thesaurus definitions you want, "catfight" when applied to an argument between women is still sexist. Is it in the same league as "c..."? No, but it's still sexist. You can use it if you want but you can't tell me how I should feel about it.
