5. I have a gay brother-in-law and sister-in-law. Both are my wifes

siblings. My sister-in-law is married so I consider her wife my sister-in-law also.

My crowd I hung out with in the 80’s in Los Angles were equally gay and straight men and women.

So am I an ally? I don’t give it a thought. It’s not up to me to decide. I spend my days with these folks as I do with anyone.

They never use the term ally because we are all just people. We don’t need the term.
