We, as Democrats, will often give credit to opposing party members if they are qualified and capable despite differences in ideology. I believe in the saying "elections have consequences" and IF this had been a fair election, and department heads were qualified, capable, and not vindictive assholes trying to destroy their departments (Unlike DeVos, Pruitt, Mulvaney, Zinke, etc.) and legislative leaders were not purely partisan hacks (Ryan, McConnel, etc.) I would have better opinions of them.

Many Republicans I know just cannot admit ANY Democrat is worthy of their position.
