168. The problem in that article is not with the Internet Archive

but with when it takes the snapshot. That article does not indicate that the Internet Archive can be hacked. Just that it only takes a snapshot at one specific time.

So, what we now have to believe is that between the date that she posted something and the date--which we know from the Internet Archive timestamp--of the snapshot, someone hacked her blog to include comments that are not out of line with her other homophobic statements she admits to saying. And why did that do that to a moderately unknown regional figure at that time? Any good answer for that? Because that makes no damn sense. But it will be pretty easy to tell if she had been hacked.

For me, I'm pretty damn skeptical that someone hacked her over a decade ago just so they could use it against her if she ever became famous.
