It's possible he's on board with Netanyahu....Trump is going to do something(s) for Israel. Dershowitz is very Israel-oriented. Or Dershowitz is going to handle the appeals, or wants to.

Whatever it is, there's something in it for him. No OBJECTIVE lawyer takes an all-or-nothing approach to legal matters.
