88. I think the best you can do

in situations exactly like that is to try to provide good advice (if you have any) or help direct the poster to a source of good advice/assistance.

I hate to say this, as well, though, but it's important to monitor your overall emotional/time availability resources - a number of months ago I think I got caught up in almost literally trying to save the whole world, and I forgot about myself. There is so much to be legitimately concerned about and upset about, that if you don't pace yourself, you'll crumble from a broken heart or lose your damn mind. Finding the right balance is really hard, because there is so much that is not right and so much suffering in this world. But I realize that I can't be all things to everybody or be in all places at once...
