75. I'm in the same position

My husband is white and I am a light skinned black women. At first glance most people don’t know what I am and I have been stared at more then usual. In Italy I was confused for Italian, in Mexico, as Hispanic, I’ve also been asked if I’m Jewish. We went to visit my hubby family in Arizona as I was in a grocery store and this guy was staring at me intensely. He was trying to figure out what I was. I nudged my husband and told him this guy is giving me the stink eye. Hubby looks at him and said, “I see you notice my wife is very beautiful”. The guy huffed and walked away. I kissed my hubby for that one.
