My folks were married for 59 years before dad passed away and he never wore a wedding ring. A school teacher who was home for dinner every night of those 59 years with the exception of vacations with me and some nights in the hospital. So I don't think there was anything nefarious about it - he just didn't like how it felt.

Me - I wear it all day every day but we both take our jewelry off at night so it sits on the night stand. Was halfway to work one day and forgot it (don't ask...lol) so I turned around and came home for it.

So we're all different.
