McCain had the class and good grace to correct her right there on the spot. During one of those town hall events he hosted during the ‘08 campaign.

I could tell she didn’t really want to believe it, even from him. I didn’t know whether to feel disgust or pity. I wasn’t much of a fan of his. I feel the same about GOPers in general. But he went up quite a bit in my estimation because of that encounter.
