They're making it sound like a year is slow but, like everything else Republicans say, it.is.a.LIE. The fact is that Mueller's investigation has been moving along pretty fast compared to some of the big ones in the past.

A this doesn't even go into the almost 2 year (and still threatening to open it back up as a distraction for Trump) harassment 'investigation' by Republicans into Benghazi.
