174. That was exactly how I felt

I looked forward to the wedding because I think the couple are sweet and I enjoy these kinds of diversions. But I wasn't prepared for the impact of the wedding they put together. This wasn't just a wedding. They were sending a message. It was a powerful and emotional experience for me.

When they rode off in their carriage while the black gospel choir sang "This Little Light of Mine" and "Amen," the staple closing of a black church service, I completely lost it.

And let's not even talk about the image of the black woman in LOCS sitting directly across from the Queen and walking with Prince Charles to go observe their children sign the registry. Damn.

You don't have to be black to get this, but if you ARE black, it's hard to think this is no big deal.
