We are doing fine with our Hawaiian life. A young feral rooster adopted us last November so we called him "Jones" as in Doug Jones. He has grown since (we are giving him high-quality chicken scratch) and acts like he owns the property.
The earthquakes a couple of weeks ago were definitely felt and we had some breakage as things fell to the floor. I took all our breakable valuables and sat them on the floor so they won't fall off high spots if another big one hits. I don't trust it is over yet.
Our air quality is good--unlike south and west of us. Kona stung my eyes during a stop there a few days ago so we were happy to get back to the Hilo area. The swimming pool is clean, too--no ash or contamination
