28. Advertising is driving me out of my mind. It's everywhere.

I've given up going to several web sites because there is now more advertising than content and some of it takes so long to load you might die of old age before the entire page appears. Television is equally bad. I especially hate the drug advertisements and, more specifically, the cutesy ones with catchy initial acronyms. I heard a chipper one the other day for "MBC." Metastatic breast cancer. As if any everyday schmuck watching television can decide what medication is best for their cancer treatment. The drug ads are so bad I almost miss the booze and cigarette advertising of the old days.
