Romney was the person they were going to run for election. He got a lot of face time and not a lot of flak from other Republicans. The Olympics were in Utah and we had Sister Wives to charm and educate us all.

Romney had too many flaws to be elected and the Fundies/Catholics see him same as Pagan and might not be able to vote for him. There was/is someone waiting in the wings who cannot stand to go through the election process either such as Jeb Bush who will swoop in and save the day at the last minute, no debates, no media hounding, no total history drug up for months. Or someone else such as Ron Paul. But I am not sure they trust him either

Romney is peaking much too soon so I am not sure what plan B will be but there will be a no Romney plan B.
