Is crafted in a manner where they cannot lead and that has been confirmed many times over. Just ask Paul Ryan who could lose his Speakership before the end of this term.

What we missed was the power to destroy that was built into the Republican playbook. And that is what is on full display right now. The question becomes, can we recover before the damage becomes absolute? I have my doubts.
