That is the best explanation I've ever seen. I am constantly checking my white privilege. It is not fair and never has been. I know I can't change being white, but I DO know I can watch my own thoughts and behavior, realize that white people ARE raised to be racist--at least to some degree--just by what white society teaches (or doesn't teach). But it is my job to learn and change and evolve the best way I can.
