They can even make a bolder statement by resigning, and refusing to play at all.

I just have a hard time commiserating with millionaires that aren't allowed to do whatever they want to do while they are working.

And yeah....most NFL players are in 'millionaire' territory. The LOWEST amount of money they are allowed to make is almost 500,000/season.(Thanks to a strong union)
