What exactly is Robert Mueller investigating? [View all]

It is easy to forget, what with all the "spy-gate", "witchhunts", etc.

And the trump has the advantage of attacking the investigation every day while Robert Mueller must remain quiet.

It is easy to see why more and more people, according to the polls, are starting to agree with the trump's attacks on the FBI and Justice Department.

But, we need to remind folks just what it is that Mueller is investigating.

First of all, he is investigating the extent of the Russian involvement in our last election and to what extent anyone in Trump campaign assisted them?

He has uncovered a lot of evidence in both areas. He has had the National Security Adviser for Donald Trump plead guilty to lying to the FBI about discussions with the Russians. He has indicted the Campaign Manager for Donald Trump on criminal charges, including money laundering. He has transferred his investigation on Michael Cohen, the personal lawyer for Donald Trump, over to the Southern District of New York. So, there is a lot to investigate and Mueller has made great progress thus far.

Naturally, Donald Trump is going to fight and dispute every charge. His attacks on our Justice system has taken its toll. Methinks he doth protesteth too much. A "normal" President would have encouraged the FBI and the Justice Department to get to the bottom of the Russian involvement in our elections. A "normal" President would have assisted in the investigation, not obstructed it at every turn. A "normal" President would not attack our FBI and Justice Department in such a public display of fake victim-hood.

A "normal" citizen would think he might have something to hide? A "normal" citizen could see that our country was attacked with cyber warfare means and would take the side of our Justice Department over Donald Trump and the Russians. A "normal" citizen would insist on the rule of law.
