I'm also a woman and feminist, but also a realist. What's important is getting someone in there who is going to look out for all of us. Who is most electable right now? That's who we need to run. Having a female VP is a great way to warm people up to the idea of a female president. Unfortunately, I know a bunch of people who wouldn't vote for Hillary just because she was a woman. I think it shows sexism is more in grained in American culture than racism.
