(58,785 posts)40. We all knew the press coverage was mostly puffery,
trying to create drama and support his phony claims of ideological and issues differences where there are no real ones, just tweaks in details at best. Except for Sanders' attempts to inflame dangerous populist resentments; that's his alone, but it's a method for gaining power, not an issue.
And of course Sanders never mentioned the upcoming elections, where the only real choice is either Democrat or Republican. His dissidence against the larger group, whatever it is at the time, is a lifetime pattern, how he's wired. Issues come second at best.

Do you think that sanders will comply with ballot access laws and release tax returns

In Maryland and a couple of other blue states, he can not get onto ballot with release
