They wouldn't have in 2017 and might even have publicly opposed Abrams. She's been working with Georgia's Republican majorities her entire life in politics, so it is an evolution for them. And Abrams has welcomed them into her big tent.

We of course don't like the insults these groups use to justify their foolish opposition, but we need to remember that most of those drawn to them aren't born zealots, they're just drawn hopefully by the idealistic rhetoric. And it's ideal if those who learn they prefer working together for common goals over dissension and obstruction do it in Abrams' big tent, and those of other Democrats. I feel sure Abrams thinks so.
