Is he so supremely ignorant as to think that none of his band of misfit toys opted out of cloud data storage? Manafort neglected to opt out, so it is not a stretch to figure out the rest of the gang who couldn't shoot straight did the same thing. The cat is already out of the bag and destroying phones where that was done will only bring further obstruction charges against them.
