Here is a man who was not just another rich person, but someone who took aim at a lot of them, including and especially his arch nemesis, Bobby "I rip off Mexican cuisine and claim it is mine" Flay. He was a person who used his food knowledge to expose cultures in the way that frankly, Journalists FAILED to do. See his episodes in the middle east and tell me he did not show both honesty and respect. He was HONEST about himself; when he went to the Bronx, he ate with Desus Nice, who later became one of the best political Satire makers. Desus talked about "crackheads..", tony said "wee, I WAS one once, with humility, not reality show style penance.

Here was a man that lived his life honestly, with both bravado and humility, who was not afraid to call out evil, such as when he was one of the first to call out Mario Batali.

I do not know what evil finally caught up with him. Maybe it was drugs, or maybe he was depressed at seeing this world go to hell. Let me say this, if any of us feel this depressed, the wrest of the world NEEDS us. We do not want to kill ourselves and let the Trumps and the Clergy laughs at us, and use our deaths to prove they "won." Tony could have done a lot more good, because he was exactly what the modern "Journalist" fails to be, someone who listens as well as talks, and then communicates in a way that people can understand.

I do not think his friend Anthony Zimmer is reading this. For all of Zimmer's cute factor, he walked the same road as Tony. Mr. Zimmer, if you ever get in this mode, remember those of us that are crying for your friend, and who knew that he, and YOU, still have a lot to do.

Mario Batali, if you are readign this depressed because those mean ol wimmin won't leave you alone, take a look at what your firend did,and realize that you could have, and should do better.

Bobby Flay, sorry, I won't weep for you when your souls sinks into that big ol pot of autherntico Mexciano chili. Even the iron Chefs won;t be able to make a meal out of you.

and to various of the more venomous (aka not all of) vegans, you use this to score points, and many of us will eat a steak to spite you.

I would say rets in peace tony, but right now you are traveling, probably to that great French restaurant over in the Fofth layer of Heaven.

Bon Appetit, me amis!
