(3,750 posts)Jews. How do modern Jews feel about what this "Christian" says? Do they execute folks for this cause in Israel?
Anyway, the New Testament does not teach execution for any reason. It does say that the Government can execute and warns Christians not to break laws that would bring that result or any other punishment. The "Christian" Evangelicals don't know what "The Bible" says or who it speaks to.
A quick skim of the New Testament shows that Christians have faith in what Jesus did and who He is. They are then to practice their religion by loving one another (and everyone else, too) and doing Good Works. Paul says that, as far as things to obey are concerned, all that matters is Faith working through Love.
I am reading a Kindle Ebook called Created for Good Works! God's Plan for Christians: Faith, Love, and Good Works by H.K. Woodrow that makes what this guy said look about as evil as evil gets.
True Christians do what Jesus did. They love people and go about doing good. If Christianity had held to that practice what would the world look like today? It is disgusting what those claiming Christianity say. Eat up with ignorance and hate.
