Sorry if this sounds dramatic, but I need some help in this area (Politics related) [View all]

As you might know if you've seen my other posts, I do want peace on the Korean Peninsula. I get the feeling, however, that this summit might boost Spanky and the Republican's approval ratings by an amount that would feel like post 9/11 for Bush and his Republicans, if not quite to that extent. How did those of you who saw through the Republicans from 2001 engage and push back politically during this time of great popularity for them? I'd like to channel my feelings towards action now, and I feel that you all would know how best to do this.
