dominance. And that power comes from the people, not from politicians. We have our next big say on November 6. Ignore all fools and subversive agents who claim it could all be different if Democrats just did "something." That's Thomas Jefferson's good, experienced advice.

Then be a good Democrat and, I assume, liberal. Serve yourself, your family and community, and your nation. These days that requires opposing what the Republican Party has become.

I hope peace is achieved on the Korean peninsula because the alternative is potentially dreadful and not controllable by us. Regardless if people foolishly attribute it to Trump.

I laughed happily, though, when I learned Trump announced he intended to make mandated coverage for existing conditions unconstitutional. He won't succeed, and politically it should shake all the trumpsters to whom he promised better and cheaper healthcare than the ACA.

Even separating children from their parents has a positive side because they did it BEFORE the midterms. Every exposure and hint of what they want to misuse government power for -- before the next election -- makes it more likely we'll be able to return those children to their families this fall and less likely the right will be able to institutionalize their capacity for evil.

We MUST be able to control who replaces Kennedy (and ?) on the Supreme Court.
