I think that is the most likely outcome. Trump will take whatever tokens Kim offers and then pump those up into a "victory" for himself. The actual agreement will be useless and meaningless, but Trump will declare absolute victory.

Trump has set this up so he will claim success, regardless of the actual terms agreed upon.
