A lot of people were convinced he'd resign before even taking the Oath of Office. Then the steady drumbeat of things like "He'll be gone by the end of the week!"
It's taken how long to get Manaforth in jail? And then only because he was stupid enough to egregiously violate the terms of his house arrest.
