These white people see themselves as the only completely human beings. They have a fierce loyalty to something they call "western civilization," which they think was invented only by white people, which embodies the true version of all the virtues of justice, mercy, science, law, and industry. These people actually think Socrates and Jesus Christ and Saint Nicholas were blond and blue-eyed. They don't know that our civilization has developed from ideas and skills and virtues from all kinds of people all over the world. They think the other races are multiplying too fast, and the white race will be wiped out, and all civilization will end. There is that book by Count Gobineau, which has a picture of subhumans in the future wondering at the decayed ruins of a civilization they cannot begin to comprehend.
Now that geneticists have discovered that the northern European pale-skinned blue-eyed genotype is less than ten thousand years old and will probably be very rare in maybe a thousand years, these people are absolutely terrified. They cannot conceive of a time when a blond blue-eyed baby will be born only very occasionally into a functioning civilization where those around him will say, Hmm, that's an unusual look, oh, well, that's nice, and move on to discuss the latest advances in rocket propulsion and interplanetary negotiations. When Obama was elected President, with Michelle as First Lady, this was just a nightmare for them. So Trump is their hero, like Beowulf or Roland or Thor, speaking the "truth" about the inferior Other, vanquishing their enemies, restoring their tribe to its rightful dominant position. That is what they are afraid to say out loud. At least most of them. But they are working on overcoming the "tyranny of political correctness" which they believe is blinding most white people to the dire situation, hoping to gather the tribe for the great effort that is needed.
It sort of reminds me of those crazy warrior video games.
