7. I've known a number of rich people, and none were like Trump.

I know there are studies showing that with increasing wealth people (or some people) tend to become less generous rather than more. Yet there are many wealthy people who give generously to charities and foundations (real ones, not like Trump's), and I've known a few. I've also met a few rich assholes. But Trump is in a class by himself, and it's not just because he's rich. If he hadn't been rich he might have been just a garden-variety mobster or con man, or maybe a serial killer, but his wealth gave him the opportunity to be a weapons-grade sociopath whose sole mission in life is to aggrandize himself using his money, or the appearance of it, to bully and intimidate anyone who crossed him. There must be a deep, black hole in whatever might be left of his soul.
