(38,958 posts)and very recently was disturbing and no the OP didn't use it, however the OP indicated a significant level of anger and was the one that brought up the use of the cart. My feelings on that statement based upon recent experiences working in the Retail Sector causes me concern, if it does not bother you that is your opinion to which you are entitled and while they are most likely not particularly great weapon systems they could indeed do harm if someone was hit by one.
The use (or consideration of the use) of a weapon of any type against another in this type of situation is simply unacceptable behavior and I find it to be lacking civility.
I also find the entire episode of putting this sales clerk in his place lacking civility. If his service was bad (and as described it appeared to be, however we do not have his side of the story at all in this mix) then one only needed to speak with a manager or to shop somewhere else. Berating him won no prize and in my opinion made the OP look foolish, abusive and a bully.
