(37,648 posts)Dealing with the public can be extremely stressful, and you have to put up with a lot. I never was rude or "broke." But I can see where if you do it for years, and there you are a grown man cowtowing to the persnickiness of the general public, you might be rude on occasion. To me, it's no big deal. I cut them slack.
"No, I only want red dishwashers." "No, I only want washing machines that open to the left." "No, I only want fridges that are 35 1/4 inches wide." "No, I only want fridges that are made in Kentucky." "No, I only want vacuum cleaners that use no more than 10 amps." "No, I only want ...."
It's their job, for sure. But I can see where it might get to some of them sometimes. No big deal. They're just venting for a sec, and then they proceed to do their job.
