This is Movement Conservative Wish List stuff. Get rid of the things that help ordinary people, and make sure you can squash anyone who gets uppity. Restore the Gilded Age! The rightful form of government is like a banana republic: A small circle of wealthy elite, a larger tier that services them, and a sea of peons.

Look for Heritage Foundation fingerprints all over it.

It's not "Trumpism" folks. It's Republicans. It's conservatives, even the ones who call themselves "NeverTrumpers". This is their goal, and they see their big chance to grab all the marbles.
