Right now Civil Liberty Lawyers are most intent on stopping the childhood separation and the fact that no one is representing most of these children in their own legal procedures. A parallel track is running with cases arguing against "zero tolerance". The problem is the immediacy of the crisis is not being addressed by mere individual or even class lawsuits. There is some hope that at least a few of the State legal proceedings being brought might result in an injunction of some sort, but that has not happened yet.
