I do not dismiss rights casually.

The gunapolooza made me more hostile to gun-rights advocates, while simultaneously embarrassed as hell for many of the gun control advocates. (And a little afraid of how authoritarian and dismissive some could be.)

On balance, however, I think the experience of actually having to counter the more tendentious pro-gun arguments made me a tiny bit more okay with gun control.

(I think that, from a liberty angle, the guns are costing more liberty than they grant.)
