14. You don't. Be real and humble. You can do so much to teach.

We’ve thought we were the exception to the world’s problems for so long. We thought we were better. That’s part of the shock. You can teach that, the hope of something better and how we’ve played it out, the successes and failures, the struggles among ourselves, the rises and falls.

And I know I’m sitting here telling you what to do without much knowledge or risk. But know this. I care. I teach psychology at a little training institute. We’re trying to get better while recognizing how very, very limited and discriminitory our field has been. We’re trying. Let’s try together.
