Once again, every thing he does need to be seen through the lens of his desired to impose a rigid social order with rich straight white men on top, etc.

The shooter has acted as one of his enforcers and has done him a favor. He needs and approves of the use of violence in enforcement of his desired social order and his own power.

He's not going to do anything to undermine that.

This is just another installment in the "fine people on both sides" saga.
