19. Most ICE agents currently in service were hired under Obama administration

Sixty percent of those are first or second generation Hispanics (as they require high degree of Spanish), most of those originally arrived without visas.

The last ICE DRO officer I met I asked what he thought about what was going to happen with DACA kids. He said you don't want law enforcement officers picking which laws to enforce, it's the legislature's responsibility to do that and the people's responsibility to elect the legislature. His eyes filled with tears when he told me that he arrived illegally and was able to get citizenship when his mother married an American, "But for that I would be a dreamer".
