Our Parade today. Stevens Point, Wisconsin. 26,000 pop. The downtown is lined 6 deep with kids and parents. A good number of DEMs showed up for us. We have 3 floats. One is a vintage Model T with woody panels. I made a dress with the Rosie Riveter pic saying "It's Mueller Time", a huge pic B&W of Barack taking the oath with Michelle holding the Bible, and a pic of Trump surrounded by OMG GOP WTF..

On the back I have an old brown sepia pic of Obama and Biden in Western duds saying "There's a new Sheriff in Town..Change has Come". Under that IMPEACH TRUMP.

Then I painted on I am Parkland. I am Disabled Elderly Poor. I am LGBT. I am Mexican. I am Muslim. I am K-12. I am New Deal. Vote DEM 2018. I gave out RW&B leis...others gave non edible things and candy, of course.

It was 90 degrees and humid. The very last float is always the Rs...and for the 4th year in a row they used a tank. Imagine the damage that does to our streets. We have been begging for road repair for all these years under Walker. We are among the worst in the country. Pothole after pothole that you can lose a small child in.
