36. I think Avenatti will have broad appeal across party lines

He is not a politician and the only person in the universe we know who is able to outbully trump. He has already shown that he is able to control the media. He has high entertainment value - this will be of paramount importance. Seasoned politicians usually lack all that. He will have broad appeal across party lines. He is a top notch lawyer that surely would help him to push hard against trump and his allies. 2020 will not be about policy - this much is guranteed; it will be a fight to save the country or what’s left of it by that time. He is the only one I can see some trump voters might go for - they are drawn to bullies and ‘strong’ white men. His policy experience will be irrelevant, he would delegate it to democrats and, perhaps, a vp like Kamala Harris (another top notch lawyer). Not having any political baggage, he can laser focus on everyday needs of 99% of Americans communicating directly to them via twitter. He’ll gather corporate support anyway because they sure as hell do not want trump. Dems will need to enlist larger than life online domination even if it means massive troll factories to combat increasing russian interference. I think internet providers may coalesce around dems and help with amplyfing the truth and supressing fake propaganda - I hope facebook, insta, all social media will be on board with that.

We all need to accept that our country has experienced irreversible damage. It will never be the same. Politics as usual, same tried tactics simply won’t work anymore - we live in a fundamentally different society now.
