that he used EPA employees to try to find his wife a job or a Chik-Fil-A franchise; rented a discounted DC apartment from a lobbyist's wife; pent $150K of government money on first-class travel (because people in coach said mean things to him); spent millions of dollars for a 20-member full-time security detail; ordered a $43K soundproof phone booth for his office; had employees charge his hotel stays on their personal credit cards and didn't reimburse them; had EPA employees driving around looking for a special lotion from the Ritz-Carlton; allowed a former Comcast lobbyist to tag along to and help plan his six-figure, taxpayer-funded trip to Morocco; bought silver fountain pens for $3,200 to give away; dined with an alleged child abuser while on a taxpayer-funded trip to Rome and then tried to cover it up; directed an aide to get a used mattress from the Trump International Hotel; and spent $2,749.62 for “tactical pants” and “tactical polos.” Just to name a few. How terribly mean of people to mention such trivial incidents!
