Republicans only come to their senses when they get POUNDED politically and go into denial that they never heard of "those people" who were never "Real Conservatives".

Millions of life-long Republican racists in 2008 burned their "Bush/Cheney 04" lawn signs and swore they had never even heard of George W. Bush. Because it is never, ever about them. Never about the things they said and did. Never about their abominations. Never about the national nightmares they created and turned loose. Caught in those nightmares of their own making, they always blame some other group of irresponsible Republican elites, "them", "those people" waaaaaaay over there, that "other group" of craven Republican bigots - they were the ones who let us all down.

But they all came back into the fold after eight years of another Democrat saving a world economy, restoring millions of jobs, and easing the rest of the world's hatred for America - They. Came. Back! For more.

George Will, Charlie Sykes, Steve Schmidt, Rick Wilson, Nicolle Wallace, Pete Wehner, Michael Gerson, Joe Scarborough, Ralph Peters, Max Boot, Daniel Pipes, all of them - will (or have) come back. Hell - Ben Stein and Ted Cruz are already back. In 2018! The damned few Republicans who said, "I don't know you" after ole' Bone Spurs publicly shit all over Gold Star parents? They're back.

They are just 11th hour GOP Apostates now saying what Democrats have been saying about the GOP FOR DECADES. They will stab us in the back the minute the mango-headed ambulatory crisis has passed. But not until then. Because it pays too well.
