And a couple who committed suicide together.
I think it's something in the water. (We live on a superfund site)

I'd never have a gun in the house. I do have a pen-like pepper spray key chain at the front door

Locks, lights, alarms, and yes a gun in a quick access lock box in a desk draws is not a bad idea.
