Even though the closest stores are over an hour away from where I live the membership has more than paid for itself. They have such an awesome selection. My sister and my future brother in law introduced me to the place - they have one about two miles from where they live in St. Peters, Missouri. First time we visited I signed up and make regular visits to Madison to do some Costco shopping. I'm going to give the Coralville store a try too. My sister and her boyfriend dropped their Costco membership for a while in favor of Sams Club but eventually rejoined after realizing that Costco was an all around higher quality experience.
